Nicole Badr is a solicitor specialising in corporate law, corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, family office, and intellectual property. With a particular focus on the Wine, Agribusiness, and Water sectors, Nicole combines her legal expertise with a passion for supporting these industries.

Nicole’s experience includes advising on the acquisition of a juice processing facility and a citrus farm as well as the acquisition of an auction company and subsequent integration of the target company in the purchasing entity. She successfully negotiated transaction documents, conducted due diligence including preparing requisite due-diligence reports, and assisted with completion for a range of M&A matters. Such matters include the sale of thirty-five vineyards to institutional investors, capital raise for a prop-tech company and the acquisition of an auction company. Nicole has also provided corporate advice to clients across sectors including Wine, Food and Beverage, Agriculture and commercial law generally at both national and local levels.

Nicole’s focus is on finding practical, cost-effective solutions for her clients’ problems. Her attention to detail, honest and empathetic approach, and ability to see the bigger picture, make her a trusted and highly effective advisor. Passionate about the Wine and Beverage industry, Nicole advocates for gender equality in the sector and is a member of, and active attendee at key conferences including AIDV, Australian Women in Wine, and Australian Women in Insolvency Professionals. Beyond her legal practice, Nicole is actively involved in charity work, fundraising for causes both domestically and internationally.
