Stanton & Stanton Supports Boys to the Bush

Boys to the Bush is a charity focused on prevention and early intervention strategies for vulnerable male youth. Their mission is to provide an environment free from the distractions in their lives, allowing boys the opportunity to be surrounded by positive influences and giving them opportunities to succeed, encouraging mate ship, resilience and a sense of belonging.

When the opportunity arose for Stanton & Stanton to support Boys to the Bush, we were delighted to partner with this program. We hosted an evening designed to introduce Boys to the Bush to Sydney-based fundraising opportunities and cultivate long-term partnerships. The evening aimed to raise awareness of the program's impact on regional youth while establishing valuable relationships with individuals and organisations dedicated to youth development in rural and regional communities.

When our Principals, Kenneth Stanton and Laura Quarrell, and Practice Manager, Diana Wallen, first heard about Boys to the Bush and their mission, it instantly resonated. Both Laura and Diana were raised in regional New South Wales and have experienced firsthand how crucial a charity such as Boys to the Bush is in regional areas.

We look forward to continuing our relationship and supporting Boys to the Bush with their important work.

About Boys to the Bush

Boys to theBush was established in 2017 by three school teachers who were noticing commonissues in young men with similar backgrounds. Disconnected, vulnerable andoften from a home without the presence of good male role models.

These threeteachers knew if they could give these boys what they each had growing upstrong, positive role models, it could change the course of their lives.

Since 2017, Boys to the Bush has impacted more than 7,000lives through involvement in their range of programs. These include 1:1MENtoring Programs, Camps, School Programs, Education Programs, and CommunityEngagement Days

Their purpose: “We are role models leading by example,and we give our time because everyone deserves to be connected to theircommunity.”
